Ten Hag reveals team news for opener (Manchester United)

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has provided an update on his plans for our Premier League opening-weekend clash with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Brighton have added Chelsea defender Levi Colwill to their squad, with the 19-year-old joining on loan for the season. Luke Shaw missed out on last weekend's friendlies but the left-back was pictured training at Carrington this week and will be hoping to get the nod ahead of new signing Tyrell Malacia, who has impressed in a red shirt so far. New signings Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez are in the frame for their full United debuts, after being given minutes during our double-header of friendlies with Atletico Madrid and Rayo Vallecano.

United should come flying out of the blocks so let's enhance that 8/13 win price by backing Ten Hag's side to be in front at both half-time and full-time. Progress is imperative but that won't be easy given all of the sides around them in the Premier League have strengthened over the summer. However, personnel clearly still remains an issue because there can be no doubt this side needs upgrades in several departments, most importantly in central midfield.
