Wajackoyah captured the attention of the masses particularly due to controversial proposals in his party manifesto which included slashing of working days to four days and legalisation of bhang. But none, seemingly, rivals the fame Roots Party leader George Wajackoyah earned himself after he announced his presidential bid. The Roots Party leader vied for president at the August 9 general election.
