NAIROBI, Kenya, Sep 9 — Former Kisii Governor James Ongwae has ditched Azimio La Umoja Coalition Party and joined the Kenya Kwanza Alliance.
Others were former Woman Representatives Janet Ongera (Kisii), Emily Nyagarama (Nyamira aspiring candidate), James Kenani the ODM candidate for Nyaribari Chache constituency in the just concluded elections and Kenya National Congress (KNC) Party Leader Manson Oyongo. Trouble began when Odinga and his Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party endorsed the Governor Simba Arati for the position at the nomination stage. Part of the delegation included former MPs Ben Momanyi (Borabu), Stephen Manoti (Bobasi), Zebedeo Opore (Bonchari), Simon Ogari (Bomachoge Chache), Jimmy Agwenyi (Kitutu Chache North) and former Transport Chief Administrative Secretary Chris Obure.
