I was also annoyed that Preston were allowed to slow down the game so much and I don't blame them, I blame the officials because they should crack down on that. We always thought the goals would come if we kept doing the right things." We had plenty of chances but their keeper has made a couple of good saves and Teemu has put one just wide. "The fact we scored three goals is no surprise to me. We should have defended the first two better and for the third Tim [Krul] will probably feel he should have done better, even though it took a big deflection. Then we have conceded three really poor goals.

In the 76th minute, Pukki danced his way into the box, crossed and found Gabriel Sara, who made it 2-2. Norwich striker Josh Sargent collected the ball and drove at the Preston defence. That saw the ball sneak beyond Krul at his near post. Norwich could have made it 2-0 and cemented the win but didn't take their chances. They remain second and in the promotion places, though know they made a mess of matters here. And yet, they also had the worst attack, having scored only four times themselves.

Norwich keen on Cresswell should Leeds change their mind on his ... (The Boot Room)

Norwich City are reportedly interested in Charlie Cresswell and may move should Leeds United change their mind on his future.

Perhaps there will be discussions in January if Leeds have the option to recall Cresswell. And one difficult patch with Millwall is unlikely to change that perception. And with Leeds’ youngsters being relegated last season, you would imagine that Cresswell would not benefit at all from playing at a lower level. Cresswell is going through a trickier period out on loan. The report notes that Leeds still have Cresswell as part of their long-term plans. Cresswell is currently out on loan with Millwall.
