HAYDEN HACKNEY, Riley McGree and Rodrigo Muniz all return to Middlesbrough's starting line-up for today's game at Preston.

The pair replace Paddy McNair and Alex Mowatt from the side that started last weekend's goalless draw with Huddersfield Town, which proved to be Leo Percovich's final game in interim charge. Matt Crooks is not in the squad either, even though he has completed the one-match ban that kept him out of last week's game. Preston North End manager Ryan Lowe has raised eyebrows as he has named his starting XI for the game against Middlesbrough.

Ben Whiteman, Alan Browne and Ali McCann are likely to start in the middle of midfield, with Robbie Brady wide. [Ryan Ledson](/topic/ryan-ledson) and Greg Cunningham drop out, with both taking up a place on the bench. Liam Lindsay and Jordan Storey will play as centre backs.

Adnan became a National Citizen Service graduate with the PNECET over the summer and will now walk out at Deepdale with the ball today. Foster carer Elaine told of how Adnan came to the UK in the back of a lorry, heading from Afghanistan through to Greece, across to Italy, managed to get up to France and Calais to then find himself in Preston. Today will also see North End hold a dedicated Kick It Out matchday as the Preston North End Community and Education Trust take steps to tackle racism.
