The Terriers close out a busy run of fixtures with one final battle on their own turf as Russell Martin's Swansea make the long journey all the way up to ...

We're sure your eye was also drawn to one particular name in the lineup with Luke Mbete making his first start for the club since his, erm, horror show away to Luton last month. Kaine Kesler-Hayden makes his first start under Mark Fotheringham having replaced Brodie Spencer at the break against QPR. Whoever Town pick, though, they will face a tough task against a Swansea side who will look to dominate the ball; but only a win will be good enough to give them a chance of rising from the foot of the table. [Huddersfield Town.](https://www.examinerlive.co.uk/all-about/huddersfield-town-fc) Tom Lees and David Kasumu return as expected, but Town have lost Will Boyle to illness – so in comes Luke Mbete as Mark Fotheringham switches to a back three. [Mark Fotheringham's](https://www.examinerlive.co.uk/all-about/mark-fotheringham) side will be hoping to replicate the result they claimed against all odds away to Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday evening - but preferably in less dramatic fashion. Huddersfield Town will be looking to claim back-to-back victories for the first time this season to go into the World Cup break on a hopeful note, but they face a tough challenge in prospect as eighth-placed Swansea City come to the John Smith's Stadium.

Preview | Huddersfield Town v Swansea City | Swansea (Swansea City)

Swansea City travel to the John Smith's Stadium to face Huddersfield Town this afternoon in their final match ahead of the World Cup (3pm kick-off).

The Swans recent record in west Yorkshire has been better with the visitors losing just once since there since 2007. 58 – This fixture has been played 58 times since the two teams first met in 1952. 42 – Sticking with Ntcham’s impressive form in the goalscoring stakes, his five goals have come from just 12 shots leaving him with a remarkable 42% goal conversion rate. 7 – Olivier Ntcham has more goal contributions than anyone else in a Swansea City shirt this season. If we continue to perform how we have, we’ll be happy. The hosts will be hoping to build on that performance but the visitors will be determined to finish what has been a productive period since the last international break on a high.

Lee Nicholls 8/10, Sorba Thomas frustrating: Huddersfield Town ... (Football League World)

Huddersfield Town picked up a point heading into the World Cup break, as they held Swansea City to a goalless draw at the John Smith's Stadium.

Some willing running and closing down, but hardly in the game. Slotted in at left centre-back again late on. Ben Jackson – 5: Hardly involved in the first-half on the left-wing before having stints on both the right and left of the defence, which meant it was tough for him to settle into the game. Save from Obafemi onto the crossbar particularly good. Luke Mbete – 6: Kept it simple and put in an assured performance on the left of a three-man defence. Michal Helik – 7: Dug Huddersfield out a couple of times early on and continued to win his challenges throughout the afternoon.

6 Michael Obafemi (for Piroe) - The forward made some brilliant runs up the pitch and had Huddersfield's defence on edge with his pace. Taken off in the second half. Important in both boxes, in fairness. Did his defensive duties, what little he had of them, well and was good on the ball. As quiet a first half as he could have wished for and was composed in possession.
