The works, part of an infrastructure programme worth 8.2 million euro ($8.9 million), included the construction of a new regional water utility offices, new water pumping station and a new water reservoir to ensure 24-hour drinking water supply to Gjirokastra, the Swiss government said in a press release on Friday.
