NBA picks: Warriors vs. Timberwolves prediction, odds, over/under ... (DraftKings Nation)

We go over some of the best betting options for Wednesday's matchup between the Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves.

That will be a key in this one, as the Warriors are fifth in the league in the three-point percentage and the T-Wolves’ three-point defense rank 20th in the league. The Warriors are also 29-18-3 on the total this season. The Warriors cover the spread 47 percent of the time when they are the favorite. [DraftKings Sportsbook](https://sportsbook.draftkings.com/event/gs-warriors-%40-min-timberwolves/28335352), and the total is set at 238. Taking the Warriors and the under always seems like a risky bet with how well they can shoot the three. The T-wolves added Rudy Gobert in the offseason and so far it’s had mixed returns but for them, all that matters is the playoff results.

Meanwhile, Minnesota fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against the Sacramento Kings on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result, falling 118-111. Chef Curry's night made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 34 points. The Warriors know how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Minnesota likes a good challenge.

And as a result, he was on the court as part of the closing lineup, which was great to see. DDV was pretty solid, albeit not spectacular, in pretty much ever phase of the game. but he also seems to be getting phased out of the rotation a little bit. He miscommunicated with Green on multiple occasions, had some inexcusable turnovers late, and took a not very good shot to try and win the game at the end of regulation. Looney may have moved to the bench, but it hasn’t done anything to decrease his impact on the game. Either way, it was a below-average game on offense for Dray, but I still thought he was one of the team’s better players. He brought good energy in this game, but I thought was a little bit out of control. Wiggins notably wasn’t on the court in the closing minutes of regulation ... For most players, this would be one of their best games of the year. Playing one of the hottest teams in the league, on the road, they seemed in control. A very weird thing happened in this game: Green and Steph Curry weren’t on the same page. I’m willing to give him a slight pass on some of the turnovers, because their disconnect felt more like Curry’s doing than Dray’s.
