Early FPL Gameweek 23 team news: Lloris injury + more (Fantasy Football Scout)

From Anthony Martial (£6.5m) to Hugo Lloris (£5.5m), we're rounding up what we know on the team news front ahead of Gameweek 23 in Fantasy Premier League ...

Ibrahima Konate (muscle) joined them on the sidelines ahead of Gameweek 22, while Fabinho missed out due to illness. The availability of Anthony Martial and Antony for Gameweek 23 is in doubt after Erik ten Hag ruled the pair out of the midweek clash against Leeds, a match that Aaron Wan-Bissaka also missed due to “illness”. I don’t think it is a long time but we have to see how it develops in the coming days. Ricardo Pereira (Achilles) will play for the under-21s in a bid to build up match fitness. “At the minute, it is his hip. Lloyd Kelly and Jack Stephens are new additions to the injury list, having sat out the Brighton defeat with calf problems. So we do everything and Anthony Martial is doing everything. Shandon Baptiste could make a return to the Bees’ matchday squad, having built up his fitness in January after a couple of months on the sidelines. Alexander Isak should be back, however, having missed Gameweek 22 due to the concussion protocols. None of them featured at Old Trafford on Wednesday. Gabriel Jesus (knee) is back running at London Colney but reports maintain that Thilo Kehrer was substituted at half-time on Tyneside with an unspecified issue.

'The Great and The Good': FPL transfers, rank, template + more (Fantasy Football Scout)

Fantasy Football Scout community writer Greyhead returns for the 2022/23 season with his series of articles analysing the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) ...

Perhaps, the most surprising of stats is that Magnus has yet to take a hit. A peak now into the murky world of the transfer market to see which of them has been most successful. - Zophar – Nketiah, Fernandes (Kane, Almiron) - Pras – Nketiah, Fernandes (Kane, Almiron) Magnus continues to surprise us by handing the armband to Luke Shaw (£5.3m). - FPL Matthew – Nketiah, Fernandes (Kane, Almiron) Operation: Buy Bruno was in full swing this week, with the majority of them fancying a Portuguese playmaker. - FPL Harry – Fernandes (Salah) - Finn Sollie – Nketiah, Fernandes (Kane, Almiron) Now that is a super green arrow! He is just two points behind Ben Crellin, with both residing in the top 3,000. Jones seems to think Luton Town were the best team in Europe last season; I am not sure even mad Hatter fans would agree with that assessment.

When is the best time to Wildcard in FPL? (Fantasy Football Scout)

The answer, of course, is partly team dependent. In fact, over 11% of managers inside the top 10k had already used the chip before Gameweek 22.

As a result, it’s likely you’ll have a bigger squad, with more money left on your bench each week. If using your Wildcard ahead of Gameweek 29, Free Hitting in Blank Gameweek 32 – which coincides with the FA Cup semi-finals – could form a nice chip strategy. If a team has a score of 2.00, it’s a guaranteed Double for that club, while a lower figure – like the one we see for Manchester City in Gameweek 28 – suggests there is a high chance of a Blank.

Fantasy Premier League transfer tips: Who to buy and captain for ... (Evening Standard)

With Kevin De Bruyne becoming an FPL no-show in recent games, many managers will be looking at how best to maximise their budget. Here are our top tips...

Fun fact: Haaland’s ownership actually fell just before GW21 - the first time it ever has in FPL - and he responded by netting a hat-trick. But, his style of cutting into the midfield could catch Riyad Mahrez napping against City and cause Brentford issues. Worth a punt as a likely player to start against both old club Villa and then Arsenal.

FPL Q&A: Best Arsenal players, De Bruyne + which hits to take (Fantasy Football Scout)

Here, seven-time top 10k finisher Zophar answers some of the week's most-asked questions ahead of Gameweek 23. The Double Gameweeks keep coming. We just ...

and more!](/register/) A: For Everton and Wolves, I think the investment has to be solely in defence. If you see yourself going with Salah in Gameweek 25, then I think you can opt for Odegaard and Nketiah for the value that they offer. Nketiah’s underlying numbers are elite and it depends on where you have a free slot – in midfield or up front – as I don’t think there’s much to split him and Odegaard. In defence, should Ben White (£4.7m) be moved to Gabriel Magalhaes (£5.2m) for a hit? A: I do in fact have all of the above and Joao Cancelo (£7.1m) in my team, so this question is very relevant to me. His attacking threat is quite underrated though, as he has been taking up fairly advanced positions in his partnership with Bukayo Saka (£8.3m) and is usually great for bonus points. Their two doubles in Gameweeks 23 and 25 – along with a confirmed fixture in 28 – means they are without a doubt the team to target. With five games over the next three rounds, the potential to repay any hit is quite high. I do think De Bruyne gets restored to the starting line-up for both games in the double. A: There were several questions regarding Kevin De Bruyne (£12.4m) and Man City, so let’s try to unpack all of it. Is it worth using multiple hits to bring in De Bruyne, Gabriel and Bukayo Saka?

FPL Double Gameweek 23: Arsenal options ranked (90min)

The top Arsenal players to target in Fantasy Premier League for FPL Double Gameweek 23. Powered by Fantasy Football Hub.

He will be a popular captain pick in each of the upcoming doubles. That moment looks to be over a month away though, which covers the doubles in Gameweek 23 and 25, but perhaps not the blank Gameweek 28. With the arrival of Leandro Trossard for cover, this will be a running theme in the coming weeks and we may even see Martinelli benched at some point for Trossard if he finds some form. He’s actually beating Odegaard for creativity since the restart, with 18 chances created. Martinelli has now blanked in four consecutive games, and with minutes becoming a concern, he’s the most unattractive of Arsenal’s regular front four, despite promising underlying numbers. Avoid the full-backs Ben White and Oleksandr Zinchenko who are prone to early substitutions and not always the right side of the 60 minute mark.

FPL Double Gameweek 23 team news: Thursday's injury updates (Fantasy Football Scout)

As usual, we'll be bringing you all the key quotes that you need for your Fantasy Premier League (FPL) teams over the coming 24 hours. Four Premier ...

“We trust in Fraser and we are happy with him in the squad. “It’s a bit early for Juan. “He (Ricardo) has looked great, so he’ll come into the squad, which is great news for us. But he’s getting to the final stages, so that’s been positive this week. The lads who are injured are going through rehab, as normal. Those two have been out for a long, long time, but both did very well, got through the game, which is fantastic. Ricardo is probably a bit further down the line than Ryan. “Other than that, we are as we were. “We’ve had some positive news with Moussa Niakhate, who has been out long-term. We have a tough five weeks in front of us. However, we have a good experienced goalkeeper [in] Fraser Forster with great experience in the Premier League and Champions League. We are all disappointed about Hugo and his injury.
